Humanising financial planning and mortgage broking brands.

We're Lisa & Aynsley.

We help financial advisers and mortgage brokers, like you, turn your cleverness into refreshingly real and relatable words and visuals to captivate your perfect clients.

Why financial advisers and mortgage brokers?

The advisers and brokers we work with are awesome humans who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of their clients.

We're obsessed with the emotional side of marketing money - the humanness behind the problems you solve with your services.

And we love uncovering the nuggets of gold that make each financial brand unique.

We get in your head

We take the tidbits of YOU - your truth, your magic, your energy - and turn that into a brand and website that will have your ideal clients saying "oh YES! I'm in exactly the right place.”

For decades between us, we've been sharpening our creative skills in the financial services industry. So, we get the nuances of building a solid marketing foundation in your busy marketplace.

To stand out from the mundane masses in the financial world, you need to be human, ditch the corporate financial jargon, and have the guts to be YOU.

It all started on LinkedIn...

Brandover was born after a chance LinkedIn connection led to a 'let's suss each other out' Zoom chat. We instantly clicked and knew within minutes we had to collaborate.

Our skills complement each other perfectly, and we're both high-energy individuals who love infusing fun into everything we do. It's a win-win situation - we both get to focus on doing what we love, and our clients benefit from the power of our dynamic duo.

The Words

I'm a curious extrovert and recovering perfectionist who loves learning and having a good time, always hatching a plan for the next adventure.

Home is Pottsville, a little pocket of paradise in Northern NSW, where I enjoy an action-packed lifestyle with my spirited tribe (aptly nicknamed 'Greenlight Greensills' by friends).

I value experiences over shiny things, can't handle clutter, and am in my happy place on the beach watching a sunrise, in the ocean, on a snowy mountain and at live music events.

Fascinated by words, I have a thing for quotes, lines, and lyrics; they have this magical power to make feelings bubble up inside you in a few simple words. My notes app is chock-full of all these little gems I've collected over time, always ready to share to spark thought-provoking conversations.

The Cliffs Notes version of my professional background is that I've got a Bachelor of Business, have worked in marketing roles in the financial planning industry for almost two decades, did a stint working in a mortgage broking business, became a Certified StoryBrand Guide, and was named IFA Marketing Consultant of the Year and Women in Finance Marketing Professional of the year in 2022. You can find out the juicy details about my experience on LinkedIn.

A couple of other fun facts - I did all my subjects in French in high school and grew up surrounded by Sicilians (which explains why my hands move as quickly as I speak).

The Visuals

A self-proclaimed money nerd and property investor, I bought my first house at 21, scroll through realestate.com.au as a hobby and am partial to debating financial markets and property forecasts.

It’s why I’m drawn to working with financial planners and mortgage brokers - I love the creative and analytical challenge of creating a visual representation of a financial brand's unique personality.

I'm a coffee addict with zero intent on seeking recovery, books win over TV, couldn’t live without trance music, and I'm that friend who plans everything in a spreadsheet.

I live in Hope Island on the Gold Coast with my husband (we met at a random dance class) and two lively kids; I'm constantly grappling with pushing myself to do more and be more, as well as being a generous and thoughtful mum, wife and human, and will never give up chasing the elusive goal of being 'content'.

The speed dating version of my professional experience is that I’ve got a Bachelor's degree in communication design, spent the first decade of my career at an advertising agency, and launched my creative design agency in 2016, working with financial and property brands. LinkedIn has the extended version.

A couple of other interesting tidbits - I was dux at high school, won a national art competition in primary school (presented by the Governor General), and my most cherished live music event was an Above & Beyond rave with my Dad.
